This newest pet door for wall is all about the flap. The door uses the Endura flap, which promises to be the most weather tight flap on the market due to it's double walled construction. It has been tested beyond 1,000,000 cycles without a failure!!! The key to its durability is that it swings on bushings at the top instead of flexing at the top like a typical soft vinyl flap, this pivot allows the door to swing without wear and tear. The flap magnets can be adjusted so that it is easier to train your pets, then once they are comfortable using the door additional magnets can be added for extra wind resistance. This new Endura flap is available in taller sizes than most other pet doors. This means that it is easier to fit multiple dogs, as the flap can be lower to the ground and yet still be tall enough for a larger dog at the same time. Even with the extra magnets removed, this heavy duty door may be too difficult to open for cats, especially if your cat is timid. The single flap version of this door is very weather tight. With the dead air space between the two very weather tight Endura flaps, the double flap version of this door is simply the most weather tight pet door on the market.
