The Ideal Pet door company is one of the biggest and most popular in the USA. This company produces several different lines of pet doors. Their flaps all have a chrome strip across the bottom. Most say Made in the USA on them, and many have the size embossed right into the flap, which makes it easy to know which size to purchase. This door is easily distinguishable from the Original and Deluxe doors because the frames protrude about 3 inches from the door or wall they're installed in.
Sizes are as follows:
Small - 5 x 9
Medium 7 ¼ x 13
Extra Large 9 ¾ x 17 (or 10 ½ x 17)
Super Large 15 x 23
A couple years back the Extra Large size redesigned. When they redesigned the frame the size went from 10 ½ x 17 to a slightly smaller 9 ¾ x 17. If you need flaps for the older style Extra Large that is not a problem. Choose Extra Large to start an order, then you will be taken to another screen where you can choose whether you want the 10 ½ or 9 ¾ inch width.
