Pet Safe Classic Parts
- These doors have been on the market for many years and
sold under different names such as Greater Freedom, Pet Eze, Deluxe
81, and Instafit
The Pet Safe company bought the Pet-Eze company a few
years back. They have continued manufacturing Pet-Eze doors, although
they are now called Pet Safe Classic. These are single vinyl flaps
with flexible "skirts" down
each side of the flaps. Magnets are embedded in the rubber at the bottom
of the flap to hold it shut. Small, Medium, and Medium tall have two
magnets imbedded in the rubber. Large sizes have three magnets,
and Extra Large have four. The only design change Pet Safe has implemented
is a tinting of the clear flaps. Other than tint, the flaps are exactly
the same. Pet-Eze also sold their products under the names Greater
Freedom, and Deluxe 81.
Anyone familiar with the old Pet Eze door will note that the flaps
are now a smoke tint; the replacements will fit your old Pet Eze door
with clear flaps, as the color is all that has changed.
