PIexidor Replacement Parts
- Spring kits come with new bushings for pivots
- Flaps come with new weather strips
The Plexidor units very rarely require flap replacement. Every 3 to
5 years they will usually require a spring replacement. The spring
kit is inexpensive and easy to install. The flaps are available and
we have listed them here for convenience sake. These kits also include
the hinge bushings. We have never seen a bad hinge bushing in a Plexidor
pet door, but since you are in there; replace them.
The new Bite-Guard KennelPlex doors are now available. The Extra Large Bite-Guard flaps can be used in your normal Plexidor and the springs are the same, but the Large flaps are not compatible. If you have a Large Plexidor and you need a bite proof flap, you'll have to start over and buy the whole Bite-Guard KennelPlex door.
