Johnson Parts
- These doors have been on the market for many years with
slightly different frames and different names such as Johnson Pet
Dor, Tuffi Dor, Economy Dor, Deluxe Pet Dor, and Ultimate Pet Dor
The Johnson door has a 2 piece flap. In addition to measuring for
size, the Johnson company was kind enough to mold the size into the
flap most of the time. For years the small size was marked S-2, medium
was marked M-2, large was marked L-2, and extra large was marked XL-4.
This flap has
an outer U-shaped piece and a smaller center piece. When we measure
these flaps we want the smallest hole the pet has to go through. To measure a Johnson flap, lift the center section, and measure the inside of the U, which is the smallest hole.
Newer versions are marked S, M, L, and XL.
