Hale Pet DoorTM Flaps
Most Hale doors are sold with double flaps. You can
purchase an inside flap, or an outside flap, and they are different.
The chrome strikes are placed in different locations on inside and
outside flaps to prevent them sticking together. If you have a single
flap door, buy an outside flap. There are really no wrong answers here,
because Hale flaps come with the weather stripping that fits into the
frame. If you get a flap that has the wrong magnet placement you can
simply replace the old weather strips and move the magnets to the new
location so that they hit the strikes on your new flap.
