Automatic Dog Doors, Electronic Cat Doors
AUTOMATIC DOG DOOR FOR MEDIUM
AND LARGE DOGS - The Plexidor Electronic pet door has a radio frequency identification tag which triggers the pet door to open. The automatic pet door opens when it senses the tag and has an adjustable delay before it closes again. This door is tamper resistant and raccoon proof and comes with a 5 year warranty. It is available in door or wall models and in brown or white frame colors.
AUTOMATIC PET DOOR FOR CATS AND
SMALL DOGS- The Ani
Mate electronic
pet door is a great way to keep strays out of your home while
allowing your pet the freedom that he/she needs. These doors
lock from the inside, meaning that every animal can get out,
but only pets using a collar key can get into your home. Conversely,
if steps are taken to weatherproof the electronics, the door
can be mounted backwards to let only one of your pets out while
keeping the others inside. Available in cat to small dog sizes
only. For a cat or dog door, electronic is the way to go for convenience and security.
The Staywell
500 is an infrared cat door which uses a collar key
that actually
produces a signal similar to your TV remote control. This infrared collar
key is designed to open the door more consistently than the electronic
Ani Mate doors. This cat door can also be mounted backwards so that only pets
with keys can go out. This Staywell pet door is available in one size that is right
between the Ani Mate small and small medium. It should be large enough
for all but the largest cats. Use this pet door for wall and doors and keep secure your home from other intruders.
The Catwalk is a magnetic cat door that performs the same function as the Staywell 500 and Ani Mate pet doors, but doesn't require any batteries at all. There is a simple magnetic collar key and a magnetically triggered locking mechanism in the door. This eliminates the need to change batteries in the doors and keys.
